Chief Executive Officer of Enginuity, Ann Watson, was honoured as one of the key individuals driving the manufacturing sector forward.
Ann was named as a winner in the Sector Activist category of the 2025 edition of The Manufacturer Top 100, during an awards ceremony held at the NEC Birmingham.
The Sector Activist category of the annual Manufacturer Top 100 event recognises individuals from outside the sector who are nonetheless making a positive contribution to the success of UK manufacturing, and providing the support needed to help people in the sector perform their roles more effectively.
As CEO of Enginuity, Ann is spearheading our efforts to give people every opportunity to succeed in the engineering and manufacturing sector.
Winners in other categories including Digital Transformer, Net Zero Hero, and Young Pioneer form part of The Manufacturer Top 100 – a truly talented bunch responsible for the ongoing success of the manufacturing sector in the UK.
Ann was also recently recognised for her efforts in the Teesside University Alumni Volunteer Awards. The Long-service Volunteer Award is given to a graduate who has made an outstanding contribution to the advancement of the university over an extending period of time.
Ann made the shortlist of nominees for the award through her help in creating a scholarship to support underrepresented groups, as well as creating new opportunities for students and professional in and around the Teesside area.
Ann said: “What a week it’s been! I’m honoured to have been named as part of The Manufacturer Top 100 for 2025. It was wonderful to share the honours with 99 brilliant people who are doing their bit for the manufacturing sector. Being named a finalist for the Long-service Volunteer Award was another wonderful moment, as the area means so much to me. Congratulations to the other finalists, and let’s keep creating those opportunities!”
